Clayton Pope

Clayton graduated from the University of Illinois in Accounting, and after a brief stint working as a CPA for Price Waterhouse, began working in the commodity futures industry in Chicago.
He spent his early years in the industry working with grain elevators and their hedging needs, and then spent over ten years working on the floors of the Chicago commodity exchanges including several years as a filling broker in the corn pit of the Chicago Board of Trade.
After relocating to his home town of Champaign, Illinois, he owned and operated a retail futures brokerage firm catering primarily to agricultural producers and their trading and hedging needs.
In 2007 he began to work for a division of Cargill, ultimately as Commodity Risk Manager located in Minneapolis, MN.
Clayton joined AgriVisor in September, 2010, and is primarily involved with consulting services via the Max-Visor Premium .
